Peace Coffee Stout Porter

3-5-11: Transferred from carboy to bucket. Ground coffee and added to bucket. Waiting a week and then bottling.


  1. Coffee smell was strong! It reminded us both of our cold brew coffee. Interesting that it will be in there a week but I guess the quantity is very small compared to the pound that goes into a batch of cold press. This is our first batch of beer that has actually smelled good to me. :)

  2. Just read this blog post for a similar clone. This makes it sound like we were supposed to cold press the coffee in water first and then mix it in??? Maybe even filter it so there weren't coffee grounds in the beer? Whoops?
